John Paul
Postdoc

John.Paul at colostate.edu

John uses a coalescent framework to infer demographic histories across species' ranges and test competing range limit hypotheses. His prior work examined species distribution and abundance from a phylogenetic perspective, asking if age is related to range size and how phylogenetic relatedness structures assemblages.

Seema Sheth
PhD Student

Seema.Sheth at colostate.edu

Seema is interested in understanding the processes that shape the geographic distributions of species. She is examining how species' traits influence the limits and sizes of species' ranges across the genus Mimulus.

Erin Meier
MS Student

Erin.Meier at colostate.edu

Erin is interested in the effects of climate change and blister rust on threatened populations of limber pine in the Rocky Mountains.

Bethany Econopouly
Research Associate

Bethany recently completed her Master's in plant breeding and genetics, where she examined hybridization between cultivated wheat and its weedy relative Aegilops cylindrica. She's now developing population genomic assays for Mimulus cardinalis and helping to manage the Angert Lab.
