Phytoremediation

Phytoremediation is the use of living plants and their associated microorganisms to clean up environmental pollutants from contaminated soil, sludges, sediments, and ground water. This process is the topic of BZ572 (Phytoremediation), a course offered by Dr. Elizabeth Pilon-Smits for advanced undergraduates and graduate students at Colorado State University.
