FACWet Team

Brad Johnson is the Primary Investigator on the FACWet developmental team.  Brad started in wetlands ecology in Colorado after completing his B.S. in Botany at the University of Wisconsin—Madison.  His Master’s work at Colorado State University on factors influencing plant species composition in subalpine fens led to the investigations of functioning and ecology of fens in South Park that became his Ph.D. project.  After this, Brad continued his work on functional assessment and subalpine fens and wetlands as Post-doctoral fellow at CSU, becoming involved in the development of the Hydrogeomorphic (HGM) approach.

Brad has continued his investigations into wetland assessment at multiple scales of inquiry, along with fen and subalpine wetland ecology as a research scientist at CSU.
